iOS management

FAMOC delivers role-based management for both corporate and employee-owned devices across all operating systems, including iOS. We support all of the iOS devices – iPhones, iPads and Macs.

All iOS devices are especially secured because of a strict control of applications in the AppStore. FAMOC manage enables administrator to remotely support end user in the process of application provisioning, device configuration, data protection and over-the-air troubleshooting for all iOS devices.

Device Enrollment Program (DEP)

DEP provides a fast, streamlined way to deploy organization-owned iPad and iPhone devices, Mac computers, and Apple TV purchased directly from Apple or participating Apple Authorized Resellers or carriers.

Management of iPhones

Over the last couple of years, operating systems – including iOS – have stepped up their efforts to make their devices “enterprise-ready”. This means that today iOS devices come with built-in, native separation of business apps and data.
With a container solution corporate data and apps live in a separate, encrypted zone on a user’s mobile device. The IT controls only data and apps in the container, rather than the entire device.
The content of the container cannot be forwarded or copied and pasted to applications outside the container.

With FAMOC manage, you can easily force some restrictions on your employees iPhones. You can forbid f.e. sharing managed documents or data from unmanaged apps, use of FaceTime, Siri, Safari or social media and, on the other hand, you can also delay user visibility of software updates and software update by given number of days. FAMOC manage allows you to remotely configure MS Exchange and to set up advanced password policies (also with use of Touch ID).

Management of iPads

  • Limit the use to only one application (single app mode)
  • Disable all buttons including touch, sleep/wake
  • Safari Web content filtering (Blacklist/whitelist URLs)
  • Allow users to take photos/video
  • Disable autolock

Management of Macs

In addition to mobile device management, FAMOC can be used to update, secure and manage Macs.

With FAMOC manage you can set up restrictions and turn off apps on Mac that you don’t want your employees to use such as email, photo gallery, contacts, calendar or notifications. You can also disable synchronization of documents, bookmarks or keychain to iCloud, disable autofill passwords in apps or passwords sharing with Airdrop Passwords feature. You can also delay user visibility of software updates and software update by given number of days.
